Two Cute! Baby Shower Card

Today I just wanted to share a special card I made for my Niece who is expecting twins very soon.  Today was her Babies Shower and the theme was Thing #1 and Thing #2 from Dr. Seuss.  How fun was this to make a card using those two rascals?  I thought it would be cute to use the Stork & Baby cutting file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and use the Things in a Dr. Seuss sort of way.  On the inside I used a card idea I had seen that looks like 3-D baby blocks.  I inked up the edges to make them look more block like.  I stamped a number of cute small stamps from My Creative Time's (http://www.creativetimeforme.com/) All Around Everything Accessories.  They fit the one inch blocks perfectly.  The letters clouds and sentiments were also from My Creative Time.  The sun, ball, bat and drink were from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons at http://prettypaperprettyribbons.blogspot.com/

Happy 93rd Birthday Mom!

A quick post today with a Birthday card that I made for my sweet Mother-in-Law!  I am planning on entering it in the current My Creative Time Challenge.  The challenge is to use no patterned paper! You can make your own pattern paper by using any of My Creative Time's stamps OR dies,  but no store bought patterned paper allowed for the challenge.

My Creative Time 8 Product Challenge

My Creative time posted a fun challenge.  The challenge was to use 8 My Creative Time  products on a project.  It was such fun to create for this challenge.  This is what I came up with.

 The front of my card is a bit of a joke for the person who will be getting this card.  The sentiment was created on the Silhouette Cameo, printed and then cut with the Vintage Stitched Label Die from My Creative Time.  The card was cut using the Surprise Pop-Out Card Die and decorated with a Happy Birthday embossing folder, the Flower Petal Dies, Stitched Leaves Die and Spring Chicken Background that was stamped with a watermark resist.

The inside was decorated with the Stitched Doily Die, Celebrate Good Times ice cream cone, sentiment from It's All About You and a fluffy Timeless Twine bow using Firecracker.

Mother's Day Card with Timeless Twine

Timeless Twine has a challenge until the end of May.  The challenge is to have a Mother's Day theme and include Timeless Twine.





This is the card I came up with.




It is a Mother's Day easel card using Timeless Twine Strawberry Cupcake for flowers. Spellbinder dies and My Creative Time stamps were used.  Gems were used for the flower centers.  Perfect Pearls and Martha Stuart doily edge punch were also used for a little extra something.
